The Original Classical Crossover Music of Immortal Aria
Bonnie Anne Pinard and Nathan Allen Pinard are the creative team behind Immortal Aria. Together they have composed and orchestrated original songs, collaborating with talented musicians and performers to produce their unique brand of music.
Nathan Allen Pinard
Nathan showed an interest in music at an early age and began playing the clarinet when he was in Middle School. He then became fascinated by film scores after he heard the music from Dances With Wolves by John Barry, and at 14 years of age, he made it known to his parents that he was interested in composing. That interest continued to grow as he excelled at the saxophone in the Jefferson High School Jazz band. While continuing his music education at Mt Hood Community college, he and his father outfitted and set up a home studio to further his interests in music. Scoring student films and video games, Nathan developed his own very unique style and sound.Nathan worked with his mother in composing and arranging the accompaniment for her Christian worship album, A Cup For You. He and his mother also collaborated on a full scale musical drama entitled YESHUA which was produced at the Parkrose Performing Arts Center for 2 consecutive years. About around 2003 Nathan was forced to take a break from composing and music altogether due to a catastrophic illness that he is now fully recovered from. In 2011, Nathan was contracted to compose the sound track for Gemini Rue, a video game project that has garnered many positive reviews for his music.
Bonnie Anne Pinard
Bonnie Anne began playing guitar and writing songs when she was 13. She sang with the Junior High Choir where she was “scouted out” by 2 senior students from Sunset High School, who introduced her to a voice teacher. Bonnie Anne then began studying classical voice and subsequently auditioned and was accepted into Sunset’s Acapella Choir in her Sophomore year. In 1974 Bonnie Anne won 1st place in the Mezzo Soprano division of the State wide High School level vocal competition.Musical theater became one of Bonnie Anne’s passions as she played lead and supporting roles throughout her 3 years at Sunset High School. Following her senior year she immediately became involved with the Lakewood theater in Lake Oswego where she performed in Jesus Christ Superstar and a musical version of Two Gentlemen From Verona.Although she attended a community college for a short time, Bonnie Anne was adrift until she became a passionate believer in Jesus Christ. She then began writing songs and performing in her church, where she met her husband of 35 years. Motherhood, faith, and a family business became Bonnie Anne’s primary focus in her early married life, but when her son Nathan began to show exceptional musical talent in his teen years, she encouraged him to arrange and orchestrate her original songs. The mother and son team have been collaborating for many years, with a CD of Bonnie Anne’s original songs and a musical stage play to their credit.Their current project, a CD of all original music inspired by Bonnie Anne’s (author name Paisley Swan Stewart) Phantom Of The Opera based 3 part novel series, Chanson de l’Ange, is set for a Summer release.
Chanson de l’Ange is the first CD under production by IMMORTAL ARIA. Chanson de l’Ange is a CD of all original music and songs that cover several musical genres; from classical, to Gothic pop and classical crossover. Future projects range from a Christmas CD of both classic Christmas carols and original songs, to a CD that combines trance/pop and classical, featuring the talents of CC and pop vocalists.
